A 75-year-old father of 10 children, Chief Charles Okafor, with the title: Ozo Ogbukiyi, has reportedly committed suicide in Akitinyi village, Urum, in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra state. The deceased was said to have used a wrapper to hang himself to the roof of his room at about 7am. DAILY POST gathered that the incident happened last week. A member of the family, who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity, said the deceased had earlier chatted with the wife before she left the house. He said the wife was still away when she was called on phone to be informed about the death of her husband. “He had a conversation with the wife before she went out, only to be called on phone that her husband had committed suicide,” he said. Popular Nigerian musicians Olamide, 9ice as well as Davido have all seen their latest new songs, banned by federal government agency, NBC. The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) have placed a ban on works by three of Nigeria’s top level music artistes for an alleged violation of its rules and regulations. According to PUNCH, the NBC, named  Olamide’s “Wo” and “Wavi Level” ; a remix of  Davido’s “If”  and  9ice’s “Living Things” as the culprits in a current list of banned songs and music videos that it released to the public. The commission however did not give specific reasons for banning the songs, the decision may have been influenced by a recent reaction from the Federal Ministry of Health to the music video of Olamide’s new song. Paul Okoye of the now defunct singing group ‘PSquare’ has revealed in a new interview with sources, that he never left the group when his twin brother, Peter, opted out. According to the singer, he has moved on with his solo career after waiting for two months to see if their difference could be resolved.
