A housewife has reportedly hit her own husband to death in the presence of many people who had gathered to stop their altercation. According to a report by Daily Trust, a housewife identified as Salamatu Shehu had hit her husband to death in Rafin Gero village of Anka local government area of Zamfara state in front of other residents. One Emeka Chukwuemeka who operates a laundry shop at oregun, Lagos state, has revealed that a pastor gave him blood to drink to become a millionaire. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Command in Adamawa says some youth in the state now utilises human urine to intoxicate themselves. The state commander of agency, Mr Yakubu Kibo made this known Tuesday in Yola in his speech to mark the 2018 UN International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Kibo said other new items abused include dry pawpaw leaves, dry plantain leaves, burnt tyres, as well as a solution made from tom tom sweet and lacasera drink, Guardian reports. “It is important for parents to know and pay attention to the recently discovered substances of abuse like dry paw paw leaves, tom tom in lacasera drink, 10 days old human urine, methylated, spirit in coke drink, dry plantain leaves, burnt tyres among others,” he said.

  Following the sad incident of singer D’banj’s son who died tragically in a drowning incident, celebrities across the entertainment industry have mourned with the father of one. Actress Funke Adesiyan also joined thousands of mourners to console the obviously grieving father, D’banj. In her words of comfort, Adesiyan admits that the pain of losing a child is one that never goes away, one only learns to live with it. She recalls how she lost a child three years ago in an event that has remained the most devastating thing to happen to her. She however prayed that God gives D’banj and his family the grace to bear the big loss. “Lost a child 3yrs ago. It’s still the singular devastating thing that happened to me. This is a pain that never goes away. You just learn to grow with it. I’ve been there and I know no one can comfort you except God himself. A young kidnapper was apprehended by security operatives along with his gang members after abducting some residents along Port-Harcourt/Owerri road in Ikwerre area of Rivers state. The young kidnapper was said to be among the leaders of the gang who attacked and abducted the victims some days ago. A coordinated operation by security agents consisting of police and army stormed the kidnapper’s den in a bush where they rescued the abducted victims as seen in the picture. Some of the kidnappers fled on sighting the security team led by the Executive Chairman of Ikwerre, Hon. Engr. Samuel O. Nwanosike. The young suspect who is yet to be identified has been taken into police custody along with his some of his gang members who were arrested – for further interrogation.

Daniel, according to various reports , drowned in a pool yesterday. There is no official statement from the 38-year old singer yet.
