Doctors Shocked After Woman Gave Birth To The Big-Sized Baby (Photo)

A mother has given birth to a baby weighing 13lbs 14oz, almost twice the size of an average newborn. The unnamed mother had the baby without any painkillers or medical assistance in the small town of Dagestankiye Ogni in south-west Russia. It is unclear if the woman, who is now recovering in hospital, had any conditions that can cause excessively large babies, such as poorly managed diabetes. The unnamed baby, who by definition has macrosomia, is said to be suffering from hearing problems. Doctors also fear the infant, whose sex is unclear, may have health problems in the future.
